Privacy policy.
This policy covers the personal data handled when an agency collects rent through RentPayment and when a landlord is paid out.

1. Who we are
RentPayment is operated by MOS Utility Limited, registered at 12th Floor, First Avenue Building, Goregaon–Mulund Link Road, Above Kia Motors, Malad West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400064 (CIN L66190MH2009PLC194380). For any question about this policy, contact support@mos-world.com or 022 4238 3838.
Our users are businesses: letting agents, property-management agencies, housing societies and rent-collection businesses. In using the platform they submit data about other people — the tenant paying rent and the landlord receiving it.
2. Data we collect
- Agency account data: business details, agent code, sign-in credentials and activity.
- Sender (tenant) data: name, mobile number, email address, and PAN where the payment is ₹50,000 or above.
- Beneficiary (landlord) data: name, bank, account number, IFSC, and the account-holder name returned by the bank at verification.
- Transaction data: amount, payment method and card type, charge split, disbursement rail, order ID, bank reference (RRN) and status.
- Technical data: log entries generated in use, including timestamps and the actor performing each action.
3. Why we hold it
To perform the service the agency has asked for: verifying a beneficiary account with the bank, verifying PAN and mobile where required, collecting the payment through the gateway, disbursing to the landlord by IMPS or NEFT, calculating charges from the applicable rate card, issuing receipts, processing refunds on confirmed failures, and maintaining the transaction record.
4. How stored records are redacted
The platform records the payloads exchanged with the payment gateway and partner banks so a disputed payment can be reconstructed. Before storage those payloads are redacted:
- API credentials are stripped entirely.
- PAN is partially masked.
- Account numbers and card numbers are reduced to their last four digits.
The intent is a record detailed enough to settle a dispute and safe enough that reading it is not itself a disclosure.
6. Retention
Transaction records are retained in line with financial record-keeping obligations. Entries within the retention period are not edited or selectively deleted.
7. Your rights
Agencies can access their own complete record inside the platform. Where you are a tenant or a landlord whose data was submitted by an agency, that agency is your first point of contact; we assist them in responding to you.
To ask about access, correction or deletion, write to support@mos-world.com. Requests that conflict with a legal record-keeping obligation are answered with an explanation of what we can and cannot do.
8. Security
Access is role-based: an agency sees its own activity; administrators see all activity with filtering by date, category, severity, actor, transaction ID and free text. Administrative actions are themselves recorded.
9. Changes to this policy
Material changes are published on this page with a revised date, and notified inside the platform where they affect how agency, sender or beneficiary data is handled.
