RentPayment · About us
RentPayment collects rent from tenants by card, UPI or netbanking and disburses it to landlords by IMPS or NEFT — for businesses that move money on somebody else’s behalf.
A platform used by letting agents, property-management agencies, housing societies and rent-collection businesses. Each business signs in with its own agent code, registers the tenant paying rent and the landlord receiving it, and runs the payment end to end.
Tenants pay in through the integrated payment gateway by credit card, debit card, UPI, netbanking, wallet or EMI. Landlords are paid out by IMPS, which is near-instant, or NEFT, which settles on the banking system’s batch cycle — to any bank in India.
RentPayment is powered by MOS Utility Ltd. The platform facilitates payments through a licensed payment gateway and partner banks; it is not a bank, it does not hold deposits and it does not lend.
Rent collected by an agency is money that belongs to a landlord. That changes what the software owes everyone involved. An account has to be verified before a transfer is attempted, not after a complaint. The exact deduction and the exact net amount have to be on screen before the agency confirms, not reconstructed from a statement weeks later.
And the history of a payment has to be written once and stay written. Every step — the request, the gateway callback, the call to the bank and its exact reply, the ledger posting, any refund — is recorded, so a payment questioned months later is answered with a record rather than a recollection.
